Corporate Games Crowns New Champions
Area Companies Earn Yearlong Bragging Rights

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Aug. 16, 2025 – Winners of the seventh annual Corridor Corporate Games will be recognized at the Corridor Corporate Games Awards Celebration. This will take place at the Downtown Cedar Rapids Farmers Market on Saturday, August 16. Thirty-six local businesses and organizations participated in the annual event aimed to engage employees and instill company pride.

“Engagement from companies in the Corridor Corporate Games hit an all-time high this summer as we continue to provide an incredible opportunity to build company pride and connect with fellow employees,” says Chuck Long, CEO & Executive Director of the Corridor Corporate Games. “If your business or organization hasn’t experienced the CCG, we encourage you to check us out at www.corridorcorporategames.org and join us for all of the fun in 2026!”

  • Division 1: GreatAmerica Financial Services; Collins Aerospace, BAE Systems; City of Marion
  • Division 2: Crystal Group Inc.; TrueNorth Companies; Engineered Seal Products; Quaker Oats
  • Division 3: Holmes Murphy; Basepoint Wealth; FOTH; GTG Peterbilt

The 2025 Corridor Corporate Games saw two brand new champions crowned as Division 2 Crystal Group and Division 3 Holmes Murphy both will take home the Corporate Games Cup. Division 1 powerhouse GreatAmerica earned their fourth championship in the last five years.

Division 3 Champion Holmes Murphy has this to say about their first year and their Corporate Games experience.

“2025 was our first year participating and while we ended up bring home several medals and the 1st place trophy, the experience was about much more than a physical symbol.  Corporate Games provided us an opportunity to build company pride, enhance our company culture, all while engaging in some friendly competition.  The games brought all our employees together for a common purpose and allowed us to get to know others outside of our department.
Every employee was able to find something to participate in, whether it be volunteering, being an athlete, cheering, or recruiting teammates.  The games provided a way for our interns and newer employees to quickly get involved and truly feel like they are part of the company.  There were even multiple events where family members could participate or come to cheer.
The morning after each event was filled with stories and memories from the night before.  We bonded over childhood games such as kickball and dodgeball and found new hobbies such as pickleball and puzzling.
Overall, we had a great experience in Corridor Corporate Games, and I foresee our company participating in the games for many more summers to come!” – Mackenzie Belding, Office Administrator
